The Sky From My Window

I am thinking of the many times I find myself looking out from my window into the sky. When I fly, almost always I reserve a window seat. On road trips, I love to be in the co-driver’s seat. It feels like life doesn’t pass you by when you’re looking out at life outside or just staring into the clouds. At home, I have the perfect spot - for people watching or sky gazing.

The clouds evoke much emotion, drama, comfort, joy or art. What’s perfect about the sky, it has character - today’s sky is not like yesterday. They each take on a unique feel. On a clear day, the sky just before and after sunset is magical, I feel a sense of jubilation when I look into the spectrum of colours. It seems so mundane, the sky, yet when you really pay attention, a calming sigh may follow.
